The Storm
50 Watts of Appetite for Destruction!
The Storm takes over where the Vintage 50 leaves off. In the mid to late 70's and early 80's, people were modding their plexi to get more gain, more overdrive, and more MORE to their tone. Hopped up amps delivered those 'Brown Sound' tones, to more aggressive 'Appetite' tones, and more. The storm gives you great cleans, but crank it up and you can get the VH Crunch, to the singing lead tone of the Appetite era. A real hotrod, the Storm delivers. 2 gain adjustments, and a pull 'boost' really give you a wide range of tones. This is a Non Master amp. It's all about turning it up and cranking those tubes!
El34 Power, 12AX7 Preamp tubes. EL34 Power, 12AX7 Preamp tubes. Available either in classic 'small box style' head, or the or the compact chassis as the 18. Many tolex colors available, standard with the Reinhardt 'Swoosh' 2 tone tolex.
